The following two video clips are an example of the continuity of the happy, dancing black tradition in society. The first is 1903 cake walk. A cake walk was a 'comical dance' performed by black people for entertainment. When I saw the cake walk clip, I immediately connected it with some of the dances that our out now, especially walk it out. The second is a group of kids dancing to walk it out in 2006. 104 years later, the tradition continues.
