I know I have voiced my opinion about black people chuckin and jivin for the man to be accepted, but blaxploitation is great. I think that there is something beautiful and wonderful about taking a stereotype, exaggerating it, playing up the role, and doing something great all at the same time. Blaxploitation did that, and played a crucial role to getting black people main roles in movies. Also, it wasn't a white man doing these movies and casting the black people to be a certain way, but rather black people taking the power back, creating a genre, and influencing movies from that point on.
